Unleashing the Power Earth's Energy

We are on a mission to convert abandoned and uneconomic wells into clean, renewable sources of geothermal energy

Transform Abandoned Wells into Clean Energy

Our process of converting abandoned oil and gas wells into geothermal energy is simple and effective. Our team of experts first assesses the well to determine its potential for geothermal energy production. If the well is suitable, we then install a heat pump system that utilizes the Earth's constant temperature to produce energy. This process is not only environmentally friendly, but it also provides a reliable and cost-effective source of energy.

You Ask — We Answer

We’ve compiled the questions we most frequently get from well operators and landowners
  • What is a geothermal well?

It is a renewable system that simultaneously injects fluids downhole and recovers the returning hot fluids to make heat and power. These systems have the potential to be 50-100 year sources of clean energy that require little re-drilling re-equipping.
  • What happens if a geothermal well is not possible?

If a wellbore does not meet the criteria for depth, width, or temperature to make heat extraction possible then we will explore options to plug the well and remediate the surface within 6 to 9 months.
  • How will a geothermal well effect the other mineral owners?

The mineral owners, own the rights to minerals. The process does not extract minerals only uses the residual heat from the formation. The surface owner controls the injection of liquids meaning the mineral owners have little to no rights to the heat production.
  • What happens to all the equipment and tanks on the property?

The short answer is that if varies depending on condition. If the well is plugged then it will be removed and sold. If the well is repurposed and the equipment is in good condition then it may remain, but likely removed.
